16th Annual Cruise-In Car Show to Benefit West Michigan Family

Holland, Mich. . . . Trendway will host their 16th annual Cruise In car show and benefit on Friday September 8, from 5 until 9 p.m. at the Trendway facility, 13467 Quincy Street in Holland.

The annual Cruise-In has become a major event for car enthusiasts, with a gathering of street rods, customs, motorcycles, and trucks, new and restored vehicles of all kinds. Hundreds of vehicles of every kind have participated each year, from priceless classic cars to yellow submarines. This year a special exhibit of race cars will be presented. To date nearly $350,000 has been raised to assist families in the greater West Michigan area.

Admission to view the vehicles is free, and parking is provided. Visitors can also enjoy food, entertainment, raffles, activities for the kids, a DJ, and more. Raffle items include airline tickets, flat screen TVs, iPads, Fitbits, handmade crafts and many more. Anyone with a vehicle to show is welcome to participate, with a $5 donation at the gate. Dash Plaques are given to the first 50 cars in attendance.

This year’s event will benefit the Masterson family. Allendale resident Dan Masterson was selected as this year’s beneficiary to aid with overwhelming medical costs incurred as he underwent treatment for Stage 4 esophageal cancer. Tragically, Dan succumbed to his illness earlier this year. The Cruise In will help his surviving wife and two small children. All proceeds of the Cruise In will go directly to benefit them.
